Irrelevant of your skin type and issues, you and you skin will benefit from a deep cleansing professional facial every 6-8 weeks if you want to maintain a healthy skin.
If you have special issues like dry, pre-maturing aging, sensitized or acne skin you may choice other treatments added to you professional facials treatments
To maintain the health of your skin you will also have to have a small, twice daily, regime. The following recommendation is the minimum you should do daily and it will only take 5-10 minutes of your time twice daily, however you will see a difference in the health of your skin.

Mornings: With most skin types you only need to wash your face with water every morning. If you have a oily skin then use Caret Cleanser first and go into the shower to wash it off.
Two or three times a week you should use a gentle exfoliating product, like Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant. If you have very dry skin you can use it daily. Again exfoliate in the shower to save time. Then use Carat’s Innovation Serum before you use an active moisturizer, like Carat’s 24-Hour Cream.
Foundation giver protection to the skin so you can safely wear it but make sure it is a foundation that does not contain mineral oil, which will cluck you, pores. I recommend Dermalogica® foundation or Carat full cover cream which has sun protection.

Evening: Cleans your skin well, even if you don’t wear make-up. You need to remove the “environment”, like pollution and oil, from your skin to allow your skin to re-build itself through the night.
Cleanse twice with your cleanser, and then use Carat’s Innovation Serum and the 24-Hour Cream after.

This is my minimum recommendation for a daily skin care regime.

I don’t recommend the use of toner or skin tonic, as these products are meant to close the pores and we want to keep them open, to be able to obtain the products we use on our skin.
If you choice to use good, clean and active products on your skin they will give you the protection your skin needs.
